Cultivating Green Pathways to Prosper Ethiopia

ECO2RUPPERS ETHIOPIA is the first Green Economy Education, E-nnovation, Entrepreneurship and Employment program that connects over 6.7m young smart eco-citizens across the 670 Eco-Districts to StepUp, Greenup and Voteup the future leaders of carbon-neutral economy, and initiated as a part of Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed’s Presidential Resource Efficiency Program to Profit the Planet Uplift the People of Ethiopia (PREPPUP Ethiopia).

ECO2RUPPERS Ethiopia is powered by the Green2Prosper Ethiopia Campaign which is a ‘Climate-smart’ program facilitated by a social action sustainable impact mobility marketplace strategy that engages, educates, empowers and employs over 670,000 young resourceful Eco-Citizens across 670 Eco-municipals Districts with Eco-Marshall jobs, incentivizing 6.7m Eco-Volunteers, awarding 670,000 Eco-nnovation grants, launching 670 ecotourism and heritage festivals, while securing rural energy efficiency solutions through sustainability investment partnerships that promote climate justice, ensure climate finance, as well as ecosystem conservation and restoration in Ethiopia. The ECO2RUPPERS Ethiopia program is designed to be deployed by the SIMPLEE Ethiopia Initiative - the first SDG Marshall Advocates platform to create a greener, cleaner, gender responsive and socially inclusive society for net-zero footprint through multi-industry, multi-stakeholder and multi-cultural civic action campaigns to create a climate of green profits for Ethiopia. This program is specifically tailored to train, empower and deploy eco-conscious youths in the largest Green Citizen action campaign in Africa. The Ethiopia Eco-Marshalls Project is structured to accelerate the SDG Decade of Action with women and youths at the frontline of climate-smart and resilient economies.
